1. Lesson on Organic Chemistry: Introduction and Hydrocarbons
The topic of organic chemistry will be introduced and the different types of hydrocarbons will be discussed. Then the students will complete the flow chart below.
2. Lesson on Atomic number, mass number, protons, neutrons, electrons, isotopes, ions
The terms above will be defined. The charge, mass and location of the subatomic particles will then be reviewed. Upon completion of the discussion, students will complete the chart below.
