Laboratory Procedures

  1. Safety is the highest priority during the laboratory periods and you will be expected to follow all safety guidelines.
  2. Laboratory is an integral component to the study of Chemistry.
  3. New York State requires successful completion of laboratories in order to take the Regents exam.
  4. Students must bring a lab folder to class!
  5. If you miss a lab you must complete it within one week during a scheduled 9th period.  You must schedule the day for the makeup lab with the teacher.
  6. After completing a lab, you must hand in the completed laboratory report in order to receive credit. You are required to write your own report independently! Ten points will be taken off for each day a lab report is late.
